Earlier this year you may have seen or answered some questions as part of the National BVD Survey, hosted by Dairy Farmer and commissioned by Boehringer Ingelheim, makers of the innovative BVD vaccine, Bovela. The survey was also sent out to members of the National Beef Association in order to better understand the views towards BVD in the beef sector. There was a huge response, with over 900 surveys completed and returned, highlighting farmers’ appetite for BVD eradication and current awareness of the impact of BVD and its control options.
